One injured in East Washington shooting Thursday

One person was injured in a shooting Thursday night in the 2200 block of East Washington Street.

The Suffolk 911 Center received a call for service for a shot person at 6:35 p.m, Thursday, May 25. 

The victim, a 25-year-old male, was treated on scene by Suffolk Fire and Rescue, and then transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no suspect information available at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police said there is no further information available for release.
