Allen Lee Davis was born on Dec. 30, 1954, to the late Loucious Davis and the late Anne Lou Davis. He was a native of Suffolk. He departed his earthly life on July 5, 2023, in Fortworth Transitional Care Center in Fortworth, Texas.

He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School class of 1973 in Suffolk. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army for four years, joined the reserves and from there he remained in Fortworth, Texas and began working at the United States Postal Service for over 40 years until his health began to fail him.

Left to cherish his memory are three children, Tamvria Copeland Hamlin (Landon) of Norfolk, A’Koron Davis of Manassas and Allen Lamarque Davis of New Orleans, La; brothers, Anthony L. Davis (Brendolyn) of Suffolk and Zackery L. Davis of Fortworth, Texas; seven grandchildren, two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and loyal friends, Karen Davis Williams, Patricia Brown and Zenobia Walker. 

Funeral arrangements are pending with Rev’s Funeral Parlor, 3615 Vaughm Blvd., Fortworth, Texas.
