Kings Fork Woman’s Club recently awarded scholarships to two local students for continuing education in the fall. At left, Zachary Llich, a Nansemond River High School graduate, had a 4.03 grade point average and is attending Christopher Newport University this fall. He participated in the Project Lead the Way’s engineering program. At right, Emmanuella Lartey, from Kings Fork High School, graduated with a 4.3 grade point average and is attending the University of Virginia. She participated in the International Baccalaureate program.
