Amanda Porter, daughter of Bryan and Debbie Porter of Norfolk, Va., graduated summa cum laude from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania May 21 with a bachelor of arts in archaeology and classical studies. 

Other recognition she earned include the dean’s list, the Mervin Grant Filler Memorial Prize and the John David Wright III Memorial Prize. 

Porter is a graduate of Maury High School
