Ophelia H. James passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023. A visitation will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. A funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel and she will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
