Mad Batter Bakery Owner Loretta Councill talked about the shop reopening with a new format while expressing the previous format “wasn’t cutting it anymore.”

Councill detailed that visitors can expect “mouth-watering treats” such as ice cream, milkshakes and specialty sundaes that will “make your taste buds dance with joy.”

“We’re also bringing in some freeze-dried candy that will give you a burst of flavor like never before. And if you’re in the mood for something refreshing, we’ve got you covered with our fresh-squeezed lemonade,” she said. “We’re also introducing some new baked goods that will make you want to skip dinner and go straight to dessert.”

For Councill, baking and making delicious treats was a long-lived passion that floated in her head for years. She talked about how she knew she had to take the plunge after experimenting with different flavors.

“I spent countless hours in my kitchen, perfecting recipes and dreaming up new flavor combinations. And let me tell you, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing someone take a bite of your creation and watching their face light up with joy,” Councill reflected. “And now, every day, I get to wake up and live that dream. I get to share my love of baking and ice cream with my community, and there’s nothing more rewarding than that.

She talked about the shop’s history, noting how it started with a passion for making treats that will make people smile.

“We wanted to bring a little bit of joy to everyone’s day, and what better way to do that than with ice cream and baked goods? So, we rolled up our sleeves, put on our aprons, and got to work crafting the most scrumptious desserts you’ve ever tasted. And the rest, as they say, is history!”

Finally, Councill expressed her and her colleagues’ hopes for visitors to Mad Batter Bakery.

“We hope that every person who walks through our doors leaves with a sense of joy and satisfaction. Whether you’re indulging in one of our delectable pastries or savoring a cup of our delicious ice cream, we want you to feel like you’ve discovered a little slice of heaven,” she expressed. “Our goal is to create an unforgettable experience that leaves you wanting more. So, come on in and treat yourself to something sweet – we promise you won’t regret it!”
