This year, the Suffolk Education Foundation’s 24th annual fundraising event is proudly named the Milton Liverman Memorial Golf Tournament. Dr. Liverman served Suffolk Public Schools for 36 years including 10 years as its Superintendent. Dr. Liverman loved golf and was deeply committed to helping young people make a difference in their community and achieve their potential.

The tournament’s 2023 Presenting Sponsors are RRMM Architects and its design partners — GET Solutions, Speight, Marshall & Francis, Thompson Consulting Engineers, and MSA, PC.

Damuth Trane has already committed to be the tournament’s dinner sponsor.

The golf tournament is one of the major ways the SEF raises funds, so we can provide scholarships, tuition assistance, instructional grants, staff recognition, the Teacher Supply Store and other support for the staff and students of Suffolk Public Schools.

The tournament features a Shotgun Start is at 1 p.m. at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk. Players can arrive beginning at 11:30 a.m., when the driving range and putting green opens for participants. Registration includes 18 holes on an award-winning course, range balls, a boxed lunch, awards, a chicken & BBQ dinner, beverages along the course, as well as the opportunity to win raffle prizes, and network with area leaders.

The event will feature Florida Best Ball, and prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, and of course, a hole-in-one prize. Again this year, golfers can win prizes by Beating a Pro from the national women’s golfing association.
