Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) announced via news release that crews are performing electrical repairs at the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel (MMMBT), which are temporarily affecting some cameras, overhead signage, signals, and lighting along both the north and south trestles of the MMMBT on Interstate 664.

 

The release says Intermittent power outages are possible in parts of the facility as repairs are underway. 

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the area.

 

VDOT expects a temporary solution to be in place as early as this week, while a more permanent repair is underway.
