Byron Winthrop Darden, 56, of Lake Cahoon Road transitioned Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, at his residence. A Funeral Mass will be held at noon on Thursday, Oct. 26, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Parrish, 1244 V St SE, Washington, D.C. 20020. A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 6100 Holy Neck Road. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
