It is that time of year again. The Knights of Columbus annual Christmas Tree sale will begin on Sunday, Nov. 19 at noon, located at 2432 Pruden Blvd.
Mike Bibbo with the Suffolk Council of the Knights of Columbus said 400 trees will be available for sale this year, up 50 from last year’s sale, but not quite back to historical totals as tree growers are still recovering from tree shortages over the past 7-8 years.
After taking over tree sales from the Suffolk Jaycees in 2008, the Knights of Columbus Christmas Tree sale is in its 16th year. The combined fundraising from the tree lot and our concession booth at the Peanut Festival provide the funds we distribute throughout the year to the local community.
