SPD investigates hotel armed robbery

Suffolk Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, Dec. 4, according to a press release from SPD.

On Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at 3:03 p.m., 911 received a call regarding a commercial armed robbery at a hotel in the 1500 block of Holland Road.

According to the release, when police arrived on the scene, they determined that an unknown black male had entered the business, presented a firearm, and then demanded money. The subject removed cash from the register and fled the scene in a light-colored four-door sedan with a sunroof. No injuries were reported according to the release.

The unidentified suspect is described as a black male, 6’0 tall, 180 lbs., with dark braided hair and a baseball cap. The subject was wearing a shirt with a skull print on the shirt.

 

 

The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information is available for release.
