The Suffolk Department of Public Works has announced that Norfolk Southern will temporarily close several railroad crossings for track maintenance next week. The affected locations are as follows:

• Liberty Street between East Washington Street and Bank Street
• East Washington Street at Hall Avenue
• Saratoga Street at Hall Avenue

These closures are scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, and are expected to last for two days. Please be aware that the dates and times may change depending on weather conditions.
