It was a one-sided affair at Nansemond River Tuesday as the Lady Warriors throttled the Lady Wildcats of Great Bridge 78-24.

Relying on a smothering defense that allowed only two points in the second period of play, the Lady Warriors imposed its will on Great Bridge early, cruising to a 42-10 halftime lead. That same defensive intensity spilled into the third quarter, where the Lady Wildcats were only able to score four points.

Offensively, the Lady Warriors saw three players score double-digits, led by Jordin Richardson’s 22 points. Micheala Ingram contributed 19, while Brittany Evans added 15 points.
