On Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at 2:37 p.m., The Suffolk Emergency Communications Center received a call from an area hospital that advised an adult male, age 21, had walked into the emergency room with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The location of the incident is unknown and there is no suspect information available at this time.
