Commonwealth’s Attorney to host 3rd Annual Crime Victims’ Rights Week event

The Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office is gearing for their third year in honoring victims of crime.

In observance of National Crimes Victims Week, Commonwealth’s Attorney Narendra R. Pleas and her team will be hosting the 3rd Annual Crime Victims’ Rights Week Kick-Off, set for 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 20 at Lake Meade Park and located at 201 Holly Lawn Pkwy. Honoring the resilience and strength of crime victims and survivors, the event will include a remembrance and recognition walk for Suffolk’s crime victims as well as an opportunity for residents to receive resources and services from city officials. Food trucks will also be available for attendees, including Sweet Life Cupcakery and Pungo Boys BBQ.
