Kroger Mid-Atlantic celebrated another investment into the City of Suffolk on Wednesday, Jan. 3, when company leaders, employees and Suffolk City Council held a ribbon cutting for the new fuel center at 1401 N. Main St. This follows both North Main St. and University Blvd. stores celebrating their new refreshed look with new services and expansions.
Reflecting on the celebration, Kroger Mid-Atlantic Corporate Affairs Manager James Menees talked about choosing N. Main Kroger for the new addition.
“Kroger is always looking for opportunities to enhance the shopping experience for our customers, and the new Fuel Center in Suffolk will help customers access more savings using our Fuel Points program,” Menees said.
Menees says that fuel center customers can expect standard unleaded, mid-grade, premium, diesel, and E85 gasoline while also allowing customers to save money through Fuel Points.
“Customers earn 1 Fuel Point for every $1 spent at Kroger and can earn 4x Fuel Points when purchasing select gift cards and on select Fridays,” he said.
On the fuel center being Suffolk’s third recent Kroger update, Menees says the city is a “great place to live and work” while being proud of being part of the community. Likewise, he gave a message to Suffolk residents who continue to choose Kroger in their shopping.
“We appreciate being a part of the community and offering our customers a full, fresh, and friendly shopping experience,” Menees said.
