President of the Virginia School Boards Association to visit SPS school board

Dr. Cardell Patillo, President of the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA), is continuing the VSBA President’s Roadshow on Feb. 8, 2024, with a visit to the Suffolk City Public Schools’ school board work session.

The meeting will take place at the Suffolk City Hall in the City Council Chambers. Dr. Patillo’s ongoing commitment to the President’s Roadshow highlights the VSBA’s dedication to maintaining strong relationships with school divisions across the Commonwealth.

Thursday’s visit to Suffolk City Public Schools provides another opportunity to engage with local school board members and other education leaders. The goal for this visit is to allow Dr. Patillo to gain insights into the needs of the school board and work to provide support.

This will be the third visit on the VSBA President’s Roadshow. Virginia school boards are encouraged to contact VSBA to be considered for a stop on the Roadshow.
