A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of one Tuesday morning along Route 58. The Suffolk Police Department  are investigating the crash that occurred on Route 58 westbound near the Downtown exit. The accident occurred at approximately 9:02 a.m.  This section of roadway will be closed for an extended period of time while the investigation occurs. Traffic is being diverted to the Downtown exit.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time. The name of the deceases has not yet been released.
