Nearly a hundred thousand customers across all major cellphone carriers have reported outages to the tracking site DownDetector Thursday morning. According to the website, the outage appears to have hit AT&T hardest.
The AT&T outage reports began around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, and by 8 a.m., over 70,000 reports were made citing issues with service or no service at all, with a small portion reporting they have no mobile internet services.

AT&T released a statement regarding Thursday’s outage, acknowledging the outage and encouraging users to use Wi-Fi calling.
“Some of our customers are experiencing wireless service interruptions this morning,” AT&T said in a statement. “We are working urgently to restore service to them. We encourage the use of Wi-Fi calling until service is restored.”
