As the VHSL wraps up its varsity state championships, one local junior varsity team is celebrating the end of a perfect season. The Nansemond River girls junior varsity team finished off Grassfield 71-50 on Feb. 13 to complete a perfect 17-0 season. Lauren led the team in points per game with 31, followed by Aubrianna Paiz at 12  and Natali Brown at 10.
