Emily McLawhorn Brooks, 85, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024 at her daughter and son-law’s home in Suffolk, VA.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home in Suffolk with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
