Suffolk News-Herald announces 2024 All-Suffolk Girls Basketball team and Player of the Year

Editor’s Note: Coaches from each school were asked to provide nominations 

Now that the 2023-2024 basketball season has concluded and all state champions have been crowned, it is time to announce the 2024 All-Suffolk girls basketball team and player of the year.

This year’s All-Suffolk Girls basketball is highlighted by Player of the Year from Nansemond River High School’s Jordin Richardson.

Richardson averaged 17.5 points, six rebounds, three assists, and 3.5 steals per game during the 2023-2024 campaign. Much of the Warriors offense ran through Richardson, who posed matchup problems for most teams the Warriors faced this season.

The 2024 All-Suffolk Girls Basketball Team:

Celine Waddy – Nansemond-Suffolk Academy

Imani Clemons — King’s Fork High School

Rylie Hite — King’s Fork High School

Brittany Evans — Nansemond River High School

Micheala Ingram — Nansemond River High School

Dnayshia Jenkins — King’s Fork Basketball

Rylie Hite — King’s Fork High School
