From the onset, the game looked as if it was going to be a back-and-forth nail-biter, but in the end, Cape Henry prevailed 8-4, led by Madeleine Keogh’s three goals.

After a last-second goal was nullified by a shooting space call on Cape Henry at the half, the Saints looked a bit deflated. The Saints headed into the final period down 7-2 and had to increase the offensive pressure. They managed to put up two goals but could not pull together enough offense to complete a comeback.

Four Saints, Taylor Bradshaw, Haley Price, Sarah Carson, and Izzy Rose, each scored a goal.
