Shortly after honoring their seniors, the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Lady Saints dispatched the Catholic Crusaders 15-0 Wednesday.

The Lady Saints wasted no time setting the tone, taking the lead in the bottom of the first inning on an Addy Smith single that started the scoring frenzy, followed by Ellie Benes’ triple that brought in another run. Rylea Nelms and Paige Meeks fueled the momentum, each with hits in the inning, while a wild pitch added to the Lady Saints’ early advantage.

NSA kept the momentum going, with seven additional runs in the second inning, powered by a solo home run by Zoey Carpenter to the left.
