Baby Boy Ni’cere Lee Artis departed this earthly home on Aug. 12, 2009 in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital. His survivors include his parents, Jenelle A. Batten and Dontra L. Artis, his brothers, Cameron E. Tony and Isaiah Scott, his grandparents, Bobby and Juanita Eley, and Cary Artis, all of Suffolk, and Eva Artis, of North Carolina, his great- grandparents, Juanita Johnson and Louise Goodman, of Suffolk and a host of other relatives.
