Mrs. Josephine Lewis, of 1301 Sierra Drive (Lake Kennedy), went into eternal sleep on May 8, 2009 in Sentara Obici Hospital.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bud and Georgiana House Lewis, her brothers, Johnnie and Elmo House, two sisters, Ethel House and Agnes Garish. Her survivors includes her loving husband, Lawrence Lewis, one son, Calvin House (Charlene), of Maryland, one sister, Alice Radcliff, of Newark, N.J., four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home. A funeral of triumph will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 at noon in the Bethlehem UCC (Williamstown Section). The Rev. E. Myrick will be officiating. Burial will be in the Carver Memorial Cemetery.
