Scout collects shoes for needy

Suffolk Boy Scout Merritt Blei recently completed his Eagle Scout project by collecting shoes for migrant workers and needy families.
Suffolk Boy Scout Merritt Blei recently completed an Eagle Scout project in which he collected shoes for migrant workers and other needy families through the Got Sole Project.
Merritt collected and delivered 245 pairs of shoes to the Got Sole Project, which collects new and gently used shoes to give to migrant workers on the Eastern Shore and needy families.
Merritt is in Troop 16, which meets at Beech Grove United Methodist Church in Driver.
