Lucille Richardson Catada, 85, of Suffolk, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Autumn Care Nursing Home. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Estelle and Junius Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vonnico A. Catada Jr.; sisters, Clara Richardson, Ethel Richardson and Corine Langston; brothers, William Richardson and Lonnie Richardson.

She was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church in Richmond, Va.

She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Laura Rodgers, of Suffolk; sister-in-law, Gertrude Richardson, of White Plains, N.Y.; two special nieces, Doris Cheeks and Geraldean Cook; other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Allen Clark. Interment will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
