I want to thank you and your staff for the excellent coverage your paper gave to the wreath-laying in December.

It takes a lot of people, many local, to make sure this is a success. The support of the veterans’ organizations, businesses, the mayor, the bagpiper, Scouts and all who attended contributed to a beautiful day.

For the more than 4,000 veterans buried at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery and their families and friends, thank you.
