Katie Silver Mason, of Suffolk, 94, died at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Suffolk on Friday, July 5, 2013.

Katie was the daughter of the late Ada Ward Silver and Wesley Silver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Mason; her sisters, Nellie S. Weaver, Alice S. Holmes; brothers, Odell Silver, Raleigh Silver, Walter Silver and Wesley Silver Jr.

Survivors include her sisters, Lillie Silver Thompson, of Suffolk, Barbara Silver Chatman, of Ohio, Rita Silver Reid, of Virginia Beach; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Dr. Johnnie Reid. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
