Magdalene Peeples, 93, passed away on March 25, 2014.

Mrs. Peeples was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Sage. She is survived by her husband, Arlin Peeples; children, Wes Sage and wife, Ute, of Jackson, Calif., Jimmy Sage and wife, Michelle, of Miami Shores, Fla., Vivian Brown and husband, Bill, of Parrish, Fla., Jane Kask, of Towson, Md., Gene Peeples and wife, Faye, of Lakeland, Fla., Lynn Byrum and husband, Frank, of Suffolk; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434, with the Rev. Matt Winters officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Co.
