Make our friends your friends

There’s no denying the power of social media in marketing a business or organization.

But Facebook’s fundamental limitation is this: Your message reaches mostly those with whom you already have a relationship. A Facebook post is akin to “preaching to the choir.” While retention of existing customers is critical to success in business, so too is finding new customers.

As a multimedia company that works hard to be a total marketing solution for Suffolk businesses, we work often with clients who recognize the importance of social media, work hard to use it creatively, but struggle to build much of an audience. Last week, we unveiled a new tool for helping them.

Email newsletter signup

Suffolk Buzz Hub, positioned prominently on the home page of www.suffolknewsherald.com, delivers the social-media messages of select clients to the 100,000-plus readers who visit our website each month.

Anytime a participating business puts a message on one of the major social-media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, it automatically is published on Suffolk Buzz Hub.

A suffolknewsherald.com reader who clicks on a post in the Suffolk Buzz Hub widget is automatically directed to the business’ social-media page, where he can learn more about the goods and services offered by the company or organization.

Suffolk Buzz Hub is just one piece of a comprehensive digital-marketing package that we are offering a limited number of clients through the end of the week. Collectively, the package’s components will help a business reach 50,000 prospective customers every week. We’re limiting participation to a dozen advertisers so as not to dilute each client’s message.

At our standard rates for each product, a customer would pay nearly $200 a week for the package. The 12 who sign up — first-come, first-served — will pay just $79 a week. Eight spots are taken. Four remain.

Email or call me at 934-9605 to take advantage.
