Grand jury indicts 36

The grand jury handed down 63 indictments against 36 defendants last week.

Among them was Devonta Lemar Day, of Laurel, Md., who was charged in July with carnal knowledge of a child 13 to 15 years old.

Police said they were called to a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Dixon Drive at 3:30 a.m. on July 20, where they allegedly found Day, 20, and a female between 13 and 15 years old engaged in a consensual sex act.

Day, who has since turned 21 years old, is set to be arraigned on Dec. 8.

The full list of grand jury indictments is below:

  • Donte Lamont Archer — possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, more than ½ ounce but less than five pounds
  • Al Luray Baker — habitual offender, subsequent offense
  • Elmore Wilson Barnes III — forge counterfeit bills; utter counterfeit bills; obtain money by false pretenses
  • Deangelo Bennett — grand larceny
  • Cameron Brown — assault and battery of a law enforcement officer (2 counts)
  • Justin Charles Cuffee — possession of Schedule I or II controlled substance
  • Joseph Culbertson — larceny of a firearm; larceny with intent to sell; nonviolent felon possess gun
  • Alvin Tyrone Darden Jr. — fraudulent conversion of leased property
  • Chase Eugene Davis — domestic assault and battery, third or subsequent offense
  • Devonta Lemar Day — carnal knowledge of a minor
  • Randy Lydell Harris Jr. — possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, more than ½ ounce but less than five pounds
  • Shawn Derrail Hill — third offense larceny (2 counts)
  • Charles Anthony Hogans — abduction
  • Terrance Holmes — grand larceny of motor vehicle; conspiracy to commit larceny
  • Travis Cleave Howell — grand larceny; larceny with intent to sell
  • Gary Winfield Jackman Jr. — possession of cocaine
  • Laquita Lashae Johnson — grand larceny
  • Jarmard Kee — assault and battery of a law enforcement officer
  • Bobby Ray Maddrey — failure to appear on felony charge
  • Steven Alan Marshall — nonviolent felon possess gun
  • Rachel Lynn Mayo — possession of heroin
  • Evangeline Anne McKay — drive while intoxicated, third offense within five years
  • John Stroman Miller — receiving stolen property; intent to sell stolen property; alter serial number on property more than $200
  • Ices Dwan Moore — third offense larceny
  • Travis Lashea Peebles — domestic assault and battery, third or subsequent offense; strangle causing wound or injury
  • Teneshia Alisa Red Fox — manufacture Schedule I or II controlled substance; conspiracy to manufacture drugs
  • Antoine Lamont Richardson — possession of controlled substance
  • Miguel Angel Rivera Jr. — aggravated sexual battery, victim under 13
  • Deborah M. Robinson — credit card theft (4 counts); credit card fraud (3 counts); computer invasion of privacy; unauthorized disclosure of confidential info; unauthorized use of DSS records
  • James R. Robinson — abduction
  • Brian Timothy Rockey — unauthorized use of motor vehicle
  • George William Saunders — drive while intoxicated, third offense within five years
  • Rayfield A. Ward — reckless driving, accident with injury
  • David Justin Wilkins — grand larceny (2 counts); larceny with intent to sell (2 counts)
