SUFFOLK — Tricia Carter Baines went home to be with Jesus on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at her home. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and owner of Triosh Services LLC. Many followed Tricia’s journey through breast cancer and were inspired by her unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ her Lord. She brought happiness to those around her with her sense of humor and smiles, never complaining of her own suffering.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Baines, of Suffolk; parents, David and Priscilla Carter, of Suffolk; three children, Caleb David Baines, Cody Tyler Baines and Peyton Elaine Baines, all of Suffolk; brother, Brandon Carter and wife, Tracy, of Suffolk; sister, Tammy Adams and husband, Jay, of Orlando, Fla.; in-laws, Carol Ann and Charles A. Baines, also of Suffolk; two brothers-in-law, Timothy William Baines, of Suffolk, and Charles David Baines and wife, Allison, of Suffolk.

A memorial service will be held at Southside Baptist Church, 917 Carolina Road, Suffolk, on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jerry McLeod officiating.
