Marilyn Dowdy, Anthony Malette and Mr. and Mrs. John H. Dowdy Sr., of Suffolk, announce the graduation of their daughter and granddaughter, Tiara Marie Malette, with honors from Tidewater Community College.

She received an Associate of Science degree in business administration.

While attending TCC, she was on the Dean’s List, the President’s Honor Roll list and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, in which she held the position of parliamentarian. She will attend Old Dominion University in the fall to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in finance.

The graduation ceremony took place at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk.

Malette is a 2013 graduate of Lakeland High School.
