No time for ‘no parking’ at home

To the editor:

Apparently our city police have nothing better to do at 10 p.m. than to go through quiet neighborhoods giving out parking tickets for parking in our cul-de-sacs.

We’ve lived in Bayberry Cove since 2002 and have been parking one vehicle in front of our home since then. Now all of the sudden we get a $15 ticket.

Does the city of Suffolk need money that badly that our police are spending time in quiet neighborhoods while people are asleep putting tickets on vehicles? I’m very upset.

Shouldn’t they be concentrating on much more hazardous things?
