Annie Maude Gray Allen, 84, of Dallas, Texas, and formerly of Pampa, Texas, died April 3, 2016 in Dallas.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with the Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor of First Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

Mrs. Allen was born May 3, 1931 in Suffolk. She married Roy Brian Allen on June 1, 1952, in Suffolk. She had been a resident of Pampa from 1964 until 1975, when she moved to Amarillo. She moved from Amarillo, Texas, to San Antonio, Texas, and then moved to Dallas in 2012. Annie was a former member of Central Baptist Church in Pampa, First Baptist Church in Amarillo, and First Baptist Church in San Antonio. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1995 after 35 years of service. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Brian Allen, of the home; two daughters, Evelyn Staffel and husband, Bruce, of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Kathy Cain and husband, Don, of Dallas; five grandchildren, Corrie Cain Zabela and husband, David, and Kayla Cain Foltmer and husband, Michael, all of Keller, Texas, David Staffel and wife, Heather, of Austin, Texas, Julie Staffel, of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Nathan Staffel and wife, Jennifer, of Chicago, Ill.; and six great-grandchildren. Annie was preceded in death by a son, Roy Brian Allen II; two brothers and two sisters.
