To the editor:

In election times, I’m sometimes torn between candidates as I change my mind back and forth watching political ads.

With this year’s race for Suffolk’s Commissioner of Revenue, I haven’t had that problem. To me, the choice is already clear.

Susan Draper has filled the Commissioner of Revenue position for the last three years with dignity and professionalism.

I’ve known Susan all her life in various ways, through our association at church and, more recently, through her work with Coalition Against Poverty in Suffolk. She has always shown herself to be a committed and energetic person.

I know she will continue doing the great job in the future that she has done in the past.
