King’s Fork High School boys’ basketball team got a big road win to open the season last Friday.

Keontae Boyette went for 28 points in the Bulldogs’ win against Indian River High School. George Beale and Leontre Bailey also added 13 each. Kevin Williams finished with nine, almost giving King’s Fork four players in double-figures in the Bulldogs’ 84-79 win.

The Bulldogs will be on the road for a second straight game when they take on Hickory High School at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
