Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Clint Wright Jr., junior, Lakeland High School basketball: Wright scored 30 points in a Cavs win over Churchland High School and was also game MVP.

Jadyn Patton, freshman, Suffolk Christian Academy basketball: Patton won the Portsmouth Christian School tournament MVP for the Lady Knights.
