Mrs. Cathy Eley, a native of Suffolk, departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019.

Mrs. Cathy Eley is survived by her husband, Mr. Michael Eley, and her daughters, Latonya T. Smith (Chauncey), of Suffolk, and Terry Raggins (Andre), of Jacksonville, Fla., Ebony Perry (Ricky), of Newport News, April Acevedo (Juan), of Hampton, and one stepson, Thomas Parker, of Bowie, Md. She is also survived by her sisters, Sandra Holland and Jean Cook Willie, of Suffolk, and a host of relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at C.C. Carter Funeral Home Inc., 3314 Roanoke Ave., Newport News, VA 23607.

Services will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at Triumph Christian Center, 5501 Huntington Ave., Newport News, VA 23607.

Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
