The Suffolk Art League will hold its 36th annual antiques show and sale on Saturday and Sunday at King’s Fork Middle School, 350 Kings Fork Road.

There will be approximately 38 antiques dealers at the event, according to Suffolk Art League Executive Director Linda Bunch, with thousands of unique items available, plus specialists that will be able to repair clocks, watches and crystal.

Dealers will have a wide variety of valuables for sale. Gemstones, paintings, furniture and linens will be on display, plus old books, postcards and so much more. These are things that last, Bunch said, and there’s something for everyone’s price range.

Rodman’s Bar-B-Que will be serving food for shoppers and those that want to enjoy the showcases by organizations like Peanut Pals, the associated collectors of Planters Peanut memorabilia. There will also be a raffle for precious, collectible prizes.

“You might find something to add to your collection, but I think for a lot of people it’s sort of a fascination of looking at things from days gone by,” Bunch said. “And you’ll never know when you’ll find that thing you just can’t live without.”

Admission will be $6. The event will run on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Call 925-0448 or visit suffolkartleague.com for more information.
