And it came to pass, Charlie M. Sessoms died March 5, 2019, at the Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton. Charlie M. Sessoms, affectionately known to his family as “Uncle Bud,” is a Suffolk native and has resided in Hampton for more than 60 years. He is survived by his daughter, Rozelle W. Robinson, of Newport News.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at M.E. Fisher Funeral Home, 2117 Madison Ave., Newport News. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Queen Street Baptist Church, 190 W. Queen St., Hampton. The burial will take place at Hampton Memorial Garden, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, immediately following the service.
