It is not too soon to start thinking about fall semester. Registration is under way, and classes will begin Aug. 22.

Following are some of the many courses available during fall semester 2011:

Onsite credit courses

A broad array of courses scheduled for fall semester at the Hobbs Suffolk Campus includes Principles of Accounting I; Survey of Criminal Justice I; Keyboarding I-II; Small Business Management; Introduction to Early Childhood Education; College Chemistry; DC/AC Fundamentals; U.S. History I-II; Introduction to Microcomputers; PC Hardware and Troubleshooting; Principles of Marketing; Pre-calculus I; Medical Office Coding; Weight Training I-II; and Introduction to Psychology I.

Online credit courses

Fall online classes include Introduction to Computerized Accounting; Office Administration; General Biology I; Business Law I; Introduction to Computer Science; Public Speaking; Principles of Macroeconomics; English Composition; History of Western Civilization I; Medical Terminology; Spreadsheet Software; Introduction to Network Concepts; Networking Fundamentals; Principles of Marketing; Practical Reasoning; Child Psychology; Survey of the New Testament; Beginning Spanish I; and Introduction to Sociology.

Workforce Development/community service courses

Fall credit courses at the College’s Regional Workforce Development Center include Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Controls I; Air Conditioning and Refrigeration I-II; Introduction to Business; Team Concepts/Problem Solving; and Warehouse and Distribution Operation. Backflow Prevention and Cross-Connections is scheduled for the Hobbs Suffolk Campus.

A variety of noncredit/community-service courses are also scheduled through the Workforce Center.
