Order your Easter goodies now

There’s only a couple of weeks left to get your orders in for Easter eggs and Easter pies from local churches and Relay for Life teams.

Deadlines to order the goodies range from April 3 to April 9.
Oakland Christian Church is taking orders for its annual Easter pie sale through April 3. The pies come in four flavors: chocolate chess, lemon chess, coconut and pecan. They are $8 each and will be available for pickup April 21-22. Orders of five or more pies can be delivered. To place an order, call 255-4353 or fax 255-2196.
On April 8, the Isle of Wight/Surry Relay for Life Bethany Believers team will close their orders for chocolate and peanut butter Easter eggs. Eggs can be personalized up to eight characters or just decorated for Easter. Eggs cost $5 each and will be available for pickup April 22-23. Finally, Beech Grove United Methodist Church is taking orders for its famous Easter egg sale through April 9. Eggs come in coconut, butter cream, peanut butter or fruit and nut flavors. The cost is $7 for a box of 12 one-ounce eggs, $5 for a half-pound egg or $10 for a one-pound egg. They must be picked up by April 15.
