Bombshells Salon and Spa in Harbour View is planning a “product swap” to benefit various local charities through November.

The salon will collect department store, drug store, chain retail or off-brand hair care products like shampoo, conditioner and styling products from 7 a.m. to noon on the first and third Sunday of each month until the end of November.

Those who bring items to donate will be eligible for a 25-percent discount on professional-brand products. New or gently used donated items will be donated to area charities that help women and families in need, including homeless shelters, children’s shelters and more.

No purchase is necessary and ‘donations only’ will be accepted during business hours every day.
