The 1967 Class of John F. Kennedy High School enjoyed a weekend of reminiscing and laughter celebrating its 45th class reunion on Oct. 5-7.

At the Hilton Garden Inn, class members and one sponsor, Marian Fisher Martin, came from as far as Aruba, Kentucky and New York to reconnect with those living in northern Virginia and the Suffolk area. Highlights included the excitement of reuniting and meeting families and friends on Friday night.

Saturday evening brought a festive banquet when classmates, guests and former teachers remembered their school days and deceased classmates and sponsors were honored. Line dancing, swinging, and slow drag music was provided by the dynamic sounds of disc jockey Benford Hunter Jr.
