A Suffolk woman was arrested this week after being indicted in relation to an incident in December.

Lilongo Masani Lewis, 31, is accused of a physical assault against her daughter, who had reported the alleged abuse at Hillpoint Elementary School on Dec. 2, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

Child Protective Services came to the school and investigated. The injuries were not considered life-threatening.
