A Suffolk man has been charged with aggravated sexual battery after a report on Sept. 7.

An officer was dispatched that day regarding a complaint about inappropriate physical contact early that morning between a man and a female juvenile, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

Lakeith Pierre Arrington, 21, was arrested Thursday and is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of aggravated sexual battery with a victim under 13. He is being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail, and the investigation is ongoing, Klink said.
