Metropolitan Church Federal Credit Union recently announced the awarding of three scholarships totaling $2,250 to students attending Suffolk Public Schools.

Breonna Eley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rickey Eley. She recently graduated from King’s Fork High School with a 3.2 grade point average. She will attend Old Dominion University in Norfolk and plans to major in nursing.

Alexis S. Knight is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary C. Knight Sr. A recent graduate of Lakeland High School, she obtained a 3.4 grade point average while in high school. She has been accepted at Norfolk State University in Norfolk and will major in chemistry.

Taylor Harrell is the daughter of Jeronn and Davida Harrell-Williams. She graduated from King’s Fork High School with a 3.9 grade point average. In the fall, she will attend North Carolina A&T State University and will major in civil engineering.
